The iconic staple in every women's closet. When it first entered the style consciousness in 1926 it democratized fashion. It’s short length and simplicity meant that any woman could afford to be chic.

    I love a simple black dress! There is something about their simple elegance that draws me in every time I see one hanging up in the store. Plus, I'm just a sucker for dresses and any excuse to wear them :D

    These dresses are all beautiful. Sadly I haven't been anywhere that requires dressing up for a while (three kids under 5) but I think slipping into a lbd is an instant confidence boost.
