What To Wear Thanksgiving
We all know the true meaning of Thanksgiving is food, family, friends, food and food—but that doesn’t mean, however, that fashion can’t sneak its way in, too. We’re all usually in a bind the morning of Thanksgiving looking for something to wear that is both stylish, appropriate and, well, forgiving.
It's all about keeping your look comfortable but also like you have made an effort.
I would recommend wearing something with a little give and stretch an easy go I would recommend a nice sweater dress with details on the sleeves or on the neck, this way you have visually interesting areas to keep the eyes on the parts of your body you would like attention drawn too.
Here are my favorite sweater dresses:
I love the sleeve details the rich color is also an easy way to hide unwanted attention on areas you would like to camouflage. This dress is currently on sale for only $29.00 Macy's Click here now.
I love the simplicity of this dress with tie cuff details. Add a scarf or statement necklace to dress it up. By Madewell $98.00 Click here now.
Hold on don't forget the shoes!
Try a suede bootie for a contrast of textures. Kristin Cavallari $170.00.Click here now.
A block-heel bootie styled with a V-cut shaft and pinpoint perforations in back transitions beautifully through the seasons and is a sure way to underscore your style from the ground up. By Hinge currently on sale, $79.00 Click here now.
Need a new purse? I have you covered.
I love this style by Chloe, available in 8 colors! $1990.00 Click here now
Simple and very elegant shoulder bag by Tory Burch $498.00. Available in 2 colors. Click here now.
By keeping your outfit simple with a classic neutral purse and shoes you can easily dress up or down this look for Thanksgiving just add a bold statement necklace or even try a red lipstick!
Have a very happy Thanksgiving.
